It’s less than a day until the BBC announces who is representing UK for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam and the rumours are running wild! Who is it going to be? There are certainly some strong rumours flying around and, at the time of typing this, UK are now 15th in the odds to win. That’s not very high up the betting chart for some but for the UK, that’s not bad at all!
So, with the announcement due shortly, who is fan favourite since we last won that Eurovision trophy? Well, I decided to ask in a popular Eurovision group and the top ten UK artists were voted as follows:
- Lucie Jones – Never Give Up On You
- Blue – I Can
- Jade Ewen – It’s My Time
- Molly – Children Of The Universe
- Imaani – Where Are You?
- Bonnie Tyler – Believe In Me
- SuRie – Storm
- Lindsay – No Dream Impossible
- Jessica Garlick – Come Back
- Electro Velvet – Still In Love With You
Is your favourite UK representative in this top ten? Would you place anyone higher (or lower)? Who would you choose to represent the UK if you had a chance to? CAN WE POSSIBLY WIN AGAIN?
I’m anxiously awaiting the announcement which will be made this Thursday, 27th February 2020 on the breakfast shows at BBC Radio One, Radio Two and Radio Sounds. Will you be tuning in?
