Eurovision is getting bigger and bigger with 200 million people watching it every year. From 2014, a new period for worldwide music began – The Streaming Era.
Massive numbers of views and streams on YouTube and Spotify forced the Charts all over the world to create an algorithm (based on their country’s population), that would transform them into sales.
This change made music fandoms even more competitive than before, having as a result bringing even higher number of views and streams the last 5 years.
This year, inspired by big charts such as Official Charts UK and US Billboard, we decided to start Eurovision Weekly Sales Chart where we’ll transform streams and views of Eurovision songs into Eurovision Sales, based on an algorithm we created.
Every Friday at 5pm CET the chart will be updated and you will see the top 10 songs and their sales. All you have to do is stream your favorite eurovision songs from YouTube and Spotify.
What Should You Watch/Stream
We will count only official sources like Eurovision Channel, Artists Channel, TV broadcasters and National Final Channels.
We will take into consideration Audios, Music Videos and Live Performances.
