Eurovision’s two times “silver-holder”, the king Sergey Lazarev has released his 7th studio album called #ЯНеБоюсь (I’m Not Afraid). There are 8 songs in the album which follows his last studio album he released back in 2018, and surely, he has something to tell about that year has slipped by.
First he posted a photo on his Instagram account and said “23 August, new album!“
Then on 23rd August, he has announced the album Я Не боюсь is available on every platform. He defined the album as 90-neon vibe and called fans to show their impressions about the album.
The album has 7 songs in Russian and one song in English. He keeps to introduce the songs in the album one by one on his Instragram account and he promotes in another Instragram post, Ostanovi moy puls (Stop my pulse) is one of his favorite songs in the album. He talks about the song is atmospheric and not simple. Every song was not randomly chosen, he continues.
Another post he shared on Instagram, Blizko (Close) is one of the most mesmerizing song in the album. He said he worked on a lot, and finally he did it!
Lovi (Catch) reflects the whole mood and sound of the entire album, and the song’s music video is also available on Youtube.
In his last Instagram post he explains every single emotions and senses the album has.
“At the beginning of my career, most of my songs were in English for which I was criticized because I work and I live in Russia. By time, I switched my direction and I only released my English songs as bonus, the main ones are in Russian and the hits became wider.” and he adds ” I have English songs in my repertoire for my loyal Sergey in English fans and Eurovision fans, and we made the song “Goddess” with my great friend and composer Dimitris Kontopoulos.”
The song Goddess is the last and the bonus song in the album. Song defines the Goddess and the appetite to reach that goddess and singing

The fans started to discourse about the possibility of the song was made for Eurovision. The Dream Team had earlier announced the Sergey’s entry will be attractive for juries as well. So maybe they chose “Scream” because it’s more artsy and so possible to win.
